As an Air Force veteran, I am no stranger to travel.      

Early in my military career, I got to travel for about a year as an entertainer, singing and dancing my way around the world...twice. The lessons I learned in that time have been priceless and invaluable to shaping the rest of my career and life.  

I consider myself a “creative” and "life long learner", and I am excited to use what I’ve learned from my own travels to help others expand their horizons, gain new perspectives & create lasting memories of their own.

Cruising is my Passion

Inaugural Sailing on Carnival Jubilee in Dec 2023

As a 29-year Air Force veteran, I was blessed to live overseas and to travel to more than 50 countries and every state of the Union. I believe travel is essential. What do I mean by that? Travel helps us gain insight and perspective; it helps us appreciate what we have. It teaches us we are not alone in this world, and that while there are many things that can divide us, there’s just as many or more where we can find common ground. This is demonstrated on a daily basis on a cruise, where you get to engage with people from all over the world and different parts of the U.S. as well.

I took my first cruise only three months after 9/11.  Some or many of you might remember, the travel industry took a big hit back then. I wanted to support the industry, and when living in Florida, you have to take a cruise. It was just a 3-day hop, skip, and a jump to Nassau on the Carnival Fantasy, but we loved it. While I would’ve liked to cruise again, I did not get another opportunity until 2006, when I was stationed in Italy, and we took a Med cruise on MSC’s Musica. Fast forward to 2018, and my Mom and I went on a 14-day Carnival Journeys Panama Canal cruise. It was after this cruise, I knew for sure I needed to cruise and cruise often.

I decided I would not wait this long again to cruise, and I was eager to share my experience with my friends and family. I learned then that I’m very good at enticing others to cruise who’ve never cruised before. I took five cruises in 2019, and each time introduced someone to the cruise life. I would’ve been on track to help many others cruise for the first time in 2020, but we all know what happened there.

In 2021 when the travel & cruise pause was finally lifted, I could not wait to get back on a ship, and to bring some more "newbies" with me. But, I had to wait for my new passport, so I could only get two cruises in that year. In Jan 2022, I took my first solo and Royal Caribbean cruise, but I didn't stop there.  I ended up taking 13 cruises in 2022 with Carnival, Celebrity, Holland America, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, and Virgin Voyages.  In 2023, I added Princess to my list, taking four cruises with them, three cruises with Carnival, and one with Royal Caribbean.

We are now in the middle of 2024, and so far I have sailed four times with Royal Caribbean, Carnival, and Celebrity.  By the end of the year, I will also have sailed again on Princess, Virgin Voyages, and Norwegian, bringing my total cruises taken to 39.

Cruising to me is one of the best ways to travel, and I continue to introduce people to the cruise life.  It is my passion.  Whether you are new to cruising or have been on as many or even more cruises than me, I would love to help you make your cruise experience the best it can be.
